Happy St. Patty's Day

We went to Forsyth Park the day before St. Patrick's Day. It was decorated with green and even the famous fountain was green for the holiday. TV crews were already getting set up for the 3 hour parade the next day. On St. Patty's day, Will and I have a friend who has an apartment not only downtown, but on the parade route. Thank God for that! We were able to watch the parade under a covered entrance as well as use her apartment for food, bathroom, and a place for Madeline to find peace. I have never been to Mardi Gras, but I can imagine this being pretty close to it.

This Thursday morning, Will will be taking the next step in Oscar's case. The Browns, the defendants, have hired a lawyer which Will has explained is, "a good thing." From my understanding, this is a step, but not a major one. The judge will basically decide if this will go to court or not. Will is hoping to talk with the Browns' lawyer and get a feel of what's what. If you can believe it, it's been almost a year since Oscar and Mattie's death. Will and I talk about both of them on a regular basis and imagine what life would be like with them with us. We have decided that Oscar would absolutely love and protect Madeline like no other and Mattie? Well, she would tolerate her. It puts a smile on my face and then I become really sad. Fingers crossed that the Browns will finally get some legal consequences for what their dogs have done to my sweet Oscar.

Madeline's brand new wagon!
A lil' buddy decided to join us on our walk.
She was watching the cat when he decided to not go any further with us.
Love this!
I just love her eyes!
Fountain at Forsyth Park.
Some of the Savannahians make flowers out of palm leaves and sell them, this one palm-leave-flower-maker ran up to us after we walked past and insisted on giving Madeline this for free. She loves it!
I love her face in this one!
St. Patty's Day celebrating with some of Will's friends/coworkers.
Madeline taking a break from the parade.
 A super cute green princess.
Is she cute or what?!?

Still miss them immensely...

Donuts and Balloons and Pigtails, Oh My!

Madeline loves Blu!
This is, hands-down, one of the loudest toys that Madeline has. However, she loves it! She also has discovered a variety of round objects that can be used in here. Can ya see it?
Oh ya, num num num!
I promise we do not take her out in public in these clothes. We are transitioning from long-sleeved pjs, to short-sleeved. Madeline loves wearing tupperware around on her head.
Chillaxin'! Our morning routine is to wake-up (I think more for me than her) watching Baby Einstein while I feed her breakfast.
Madeline still loves being a monkey!
Different morning, same routine!
One of Madeline's favorite toys are balloons! I just wish she would stop biting and popping them!
First debut of PIGTAILS!
Can't get enough of her!
When she wants something or needs help, she holds her hands out like this...
How can anyone resist?
Precious!

Just another day...

Will had Lasik earlier this week and already is able to see better than he was able to without his glasses. His eyesight should get clearer even more so over the next two days.
Will gets to wear these sexy puppies for up to a full week! Oh ya!
Earlier this morning, we found out the Miss Madeline will definitely be getting tubes in her ears March 24th (Happy Birthday, Bob)! It is a simple 4 minute procedure and I cannot be more thrilled. No more fluid in the ears! This afternoon turned into an absolutely beautiful 81 degreed day! Will, Madeline, and I had some nice family bonding time.
