One, two, three, four....

August came and went. Lots of things are happening with the Obringer family. Silas has officially been declawed and well...de.... (fill-in-the-blank). He is recovering well.

Not much to update on Oscar. We have given another offer. What we offered is absolutely the lowest I am willing to go without mediation and/or the trial. We are on week 3 and still haven't heard if the offer was accepted or not.

We are preparing and dreading Will's deployment. It is sometimes quite emotional when you just look at Madeline and her dada and know what's about to happen. But we are managing and doing our best to make sure Will is still around when he's not around (video taping stories, songs, etc.). Thank God for video cameras.

Madeline is 21 months! Can you believe it? This year her birthday will be on Thanksgiving which is a very sweet thing. She is "talking" more and more. She's able to put 2 worded sentences together. She has started helping wash herself during baths and wiping herself during diaper changes. We have SLOWLY started the potty training process where we have one and she sits, fully-clothed, on it. I cannot wait till we are out of diapers! Plus, have you seen little girl underwear? OMG so cute!

Madeline, for some reason, thinks my faux juice is better than hers.
Her first busted lip. The underside is worse, two teeth planted themselves right into her upper lip.
I think this is funny because this outfit totally doesn't match, however Miss M helped me out.
And the finishing touch? Two pairs of sunglasses!
How we roll most days...
Absolutely in love...
My heart!
Never say never!
Getting cozy!
How freakin' cute is this?
She's still embracing the sand.
We didn't have wipes, wouldn't you do the same?
We hope you have a wonderful Labor Day!!

Disney Through Pictures

Here we go...
First ride, ever!
She was just ok about it.
Carousel? Uh no, she hated it.
This was just deliciousness
Cheers
Will hates these types of pictures, of course, Popeye was helping me out.
Steve had consumed some alcohol, fyi
Animal Kingdom
Madeline hearts her cousins.
Robbie, Aedin, and Madeline
During the Lion King show, Madeline absolutely 100% hated the guys on stilts.
Most rides/shows caused Madeline's signature look.
She loved the train.
Rob and Sherri couldn't even take a family pic. If you look closely even Rafiki is a bit distracted.
Waiting for the ferry.
It's a Small World. My parents swear up and down she loved this ride.
Do you see the worry in her face? I couldn't agree more, have you seen the freaky little people on this ride?
We had to go ahead and buy "kitty".
If she just had another arm...
She loved Buzz Lightyear's ride...
and the car.
I love her face.
Makes me laugh every time
This is one of her new nervous habits. :(
She insisted on going on the Dumbo ride again (hated it the first time). This is her and all of her glory.
She loves Minnie in every form.
The bath in our hotel suite.
Madeline's first bite of cotton candy.
She hated it.
Worst food on earth.
Josh willingly took this pic! Yay!
Trying for a family photo.
Most of them turned out like this.
M hearts Mickey
Peak-a-boo

Will and I were definitely more excited to see The Wiggles than Madeline. However, after 20 minutes of the show, Madeline was shakin' and movin' and clappin'.
Before the 20 minutes, I tried to imitate the way she looked.
Yay!
On the way home after a very short week.
