I told myself for the past two weeks to just pick one or two pictures to post. After I look at them, I just can't help myself. I do appreciate those of you who personally email me or post a response on my blog. It makes me feel like my blog is being read by someone. :) I hope everyone is having a great March. Good news is Will and I are almost halfway done with this deployment. C'mon July!

We are convinced Silas is part Maine Coon. He is currently 12 pounds and not even a year old yet.

Since Christmas, we have been busy with a solid routine. On Monday and Thursday's, Madeline goes to preschool. On Tuesdays, she attends The LittleGym. The remainder of the week days are spent running errands or having playdates with Madeline's new friends.

The modem that I originally bought Will didn't work very well. He was able to purchase another new one and it works awesome. He knows he has some voice mails on Skype, but is still trying to figure out how to listen to them. When Will isn't working, he's running. He is up to running about 8 miles, three times a week (at least). Will has already started hounding me to find us a new home in Charlottesville. This will be my February focus.

Madeline's potty training time has taken a pause. She isn't verbalizing prior to her needing to use the potty so until then, I will continue changing her every time she runs up to me and says, "Change".

Merry Christmas

Madeline has been transitioning very well to Winchester, VA. This Christmas she has become obsessed with old school Frosty and Rudolph. A couple of days after Christmas, I had to break it to her that Frosty and Deer had to go night night. It took a few days, but she hasn't asked nearly as much. Deer was definitely the #1 love this Christmas season.

Madeline and I went out to play in the snow only to find out that since it had warmed up, the snow was rock solid and Madeline kept slipping and falling down. She loved it, but I was too nervous. We are now waiting for the next snow so we can appropriately play the right way.

Madeline starts preschool Thursday! I'm so nervous, but know it will do a world of good for her.

Will is doing well. He FINALLY got his internet hooked up in his room TODAY. Madeline was able to see her Dada on Skype and it was so very sweet. She kept touching his face on the computer screen. It was very bittersweet and I'm hoping the next 8 months will go quickly.
