Charlottesville

Two weeks in September, Will had a business trip as well. He went to the JAG school to learn how to do his new job. He went to Virginia and was able to spend some time with his parents. Even though work was long and exhausting, he managed to make up for it on the weekends wine tasting and watching football.

Vegas

During September, I unfortunately (wink) had to make a business trip to Vegas. My mom was able to visit while I was there. During the day I was learning about Professional Learning Communities and at night my mom and I were able to catch some shows (The Jersey Boys and Blue Man’s Group). My favorite was probably the shopping. I was able to fix my shopping-withdrawal disorder with visits to many many many different stores. I even had to buy a suitcase, size: large, to bring all my treasures back home

Anchorage

Will and I went to Anchorage for the Labor Day weekend. We definitely shopped until we dropped. The drive down was absolutely breathtaking. You will notice a lot of landscape pictures this post. Will surprised me by having champagne delivered to celebrate our 6 month anniversary (awww). Oscar and Mattie loved the trip. Mattie had to take ownership of everything Will and I bought so she occasionally would walk all over our newly bought stuff. I think she was frustrated we cramped her style. Tomorrow Will will be traveling to Charlottesville, Virginia for two weeks and I will be heading to Las Vegas for four days. Work is treating us both nicely.
